Guoli Zhang (张国立), born on January 17, 1955, in Tianjin, China, is a renowned actor, director, producer, and television host. He graduated from the Chengdu Railway Bureau Art Troupe Training Class and holds the title of National First-Class Actor.

Starting his career in 1975 with a minor role in the film "The Pioneer", Zhang quickly rose to fame, winning major awards such as the Plum Blossom Award (Miss Julie, 1987), the Hundred Flowers Award (Mixed in Beijing, 1995), the Golden Eagle Award (Kangxi Travels Incognito, 1998; May’s Locust Blossom, 2006), the Magnolia Award (Golden Marriage, 2008), and the Golden Rooster Award (Back to 1942, 2013).

Beyond acting, he successfully hosted major programs like the CCTV Spring Festival Gala (2014) and the cultural show National Treasure (2017). His philanthropic efforts, including the founding of the "Guoli Love Foundation," earned him the Charity Figure Award at GMIC 2017.

In recent years, Zhang has expanded into directing and stage performances, with works such as the play "I Love Peach Blossom" (2020), the film "Twilight of the Cloud" (2024), and the TV drama "My Later Life" (2025). He remains a distinguished figure in modern Chinese entertainment.
